| About Us I
first met a Labradoodle over 30 years ago. At
the time I was in England and working for The
Guide Dogs for the Blind Association. During that
brief encounter I had no idea that one day I would
be settling in Australia, marrying a wonderful
Australian woman and breeding Australian Labradoodles.
But that’s how it turned out.
Our journey to Labradoodles has its roots in
our passion for good health and continuing fitness.
My wife Thalia has several allergies including
an allergy to cat fur and so having Labradoodles
around the place is ideal for her, as they have
wool coats and do not shed hair like other dogs.
In April 2007 we sold our successful Women’s
Gym and Fitness Centre to concentrate on our other
interests but we continue to live our philosophy
of good eating, regular exercise and a healthy
balance between work time and play time. And this
philosophy fits so easily with owning Labradoodles.
When caring for our dogs we strongly support
the “Biologically Appropriate Raw Food Diet”
as it is well researched and closely mirrors our
own diet of healthy eating which includes an abundance
of raw fruits and raw vegetables. As you will
see from the links on this website we also support
and market a whole food nutritional product made
entirely from raw fruits and vegetables called
Juice Plus - just follow the links to www.juiceplusgoodhealth.com.au
At the Gym and Fitness Centre we encouraged all
the staff and clients to take Juice Plus as the
benefits are so plentiful. They include, strengthening
your immune system and reducing the likelihood
of colds and flu, improving your sense of wellbeing
and general mental health, speeding the recovery
time and improving the recovery process from illnesses
and elective surgery, and helping women’s
and baby’s health during pregnancy. Each
of these benefits and so many more come about
through improving your nutrition, so please take
the time to follow the lintHALIAks. We don’t
know where we’d be without our healthy habit
of taking two fruit and two vegetable capsules
each day, and we’d like you and your family
to share in that ongoing sense of wellbeing.
Our interests in healthy lifestyles extends to
complementary medicines and another of our passions
is healing using natural products and natures
methods.
We love our dogs and we hope that you will too.
Medical research has shown that owning a dog can
lengthen your life by reducing your blood pressure,
increasing the efficiency of your cardiovascular
system, (but you have to take your dog for a walk),
improve your mental health, reduce stress, reduce
isolation and generally improve the quality of
your life.
Given who we are, we were just ripe to be picked
by a Labradoodle.
